Adolescent Boys' Friendships and Peer Group Culture
Chu, Judy Y.
New Directions for Child and Adolescent Development, n107 p7-22 2005

Boys who manage to develop close, male friendships, however, draw strength from these relationships to resist the social pressures of their peer group.
