The Relation between Pre-School Teachers' Classroom Experiences and Their Perceived Control over Child Behavior.
Hammarberg, Annie; Hagekull, Berit
Early Child Development and Care, v172 n6 p625-34 Dec 2002
Studied teachers' perceived control over child behavior among Swedish preschool teachers working in school preparatory classrooms. Found that a high proportion of children with externalizing problems and a high proportion of boys in the classroom were the most salient aspects for teachers' perceived control. The importance of teachers' perceived control for teachers' ratings of externalizing problems was also examined. (Author)
