Student Teachers' Feelings of Preparedness to Teach.

The feelings of preparedness to teach of 516 preservice elementary and secondary school teachers enrolled in a postbaccalaureate teacher education program at the University of British Columbia were examined. Feelings of personal teaching efficacy increased significantly over the 1-year program. Implications for teacher education are discussed. (SLD)
