Vieth, Ken
SchoolArts: The Art Education Magazine for Teachers, v106 n5 p40-41 Jan 2007
Promoting student artwork through national publication empowers students to celebrate their accomplishment in the artroom. As a form of art advocacy, it can also promote a teacher's art program, reinforcing the value of art education. In this article, the author relates how he was encouraged by an administrator to look for a professional journal in which to showcase the work of his students. The author also provides suggestions on developing art projects that will lead to getting published in publications. (Contains 2 online resources.)
