Cognitive Style Revisited: Implications for Research in Art Production and Art Criticism.
Lovano-Kerr, Jessie
Studies in Art Education, v24 n3 p195-205 Spr 1983

This paper explicates the Psychological Differentiation theory of Herbert Witkin and relates behaviors characteristic of his field-independent and field-dependent dimensions to artistic behaviors. Implications for research on artistic development are derived from this analysis. (Author/CS)
