Koreans Learning English in Two Contrasting Situations: EFL in Korea and ESL in Dehli.
Cha, Mi Yang
Journal of Pan-Pacific Association of Applied Linguistics, v6 n1 p103-21 2002
Addresses the question of whether there is any difference in the nature of learning English between English-as-a-Foreign-Language (EFL) and English-as-a- Second-Language (ESL) learning situations. Specific focus is on Koreans learning English in two contrasting situations--EFL in Korea and ESL in Dehli India. Findings yield implications for language pedagogy in the EFL situation in Korea.
