Describes individualized television instruction involving active student participation, where experiments on air breathing in fish and shoot growth were videotaped. Students collected data directly from the television screen. Student accuracy was found to be excellent; reactions to the medium were found to be apathetic. Reasons for apathy are discussed. (CS)
