A Survey of Teacher Preparation Programs in Education of the Hearing Impaired.

Teacher educators from 62 teacher education programs in hearing impairment responded to a questionnaire regarding student enrollment, selected aspects of student teaching programs, and student teacher evaluation. The results suggest these educators have accommodated to major educational changes (e.g., modification in certification requirements, provisions for deaf students, and teacher preparation for mainstream settings).
