What Do Parents Want in Parent Education?

A survey of the parents (N=53) of hearing impaired children and professionals (N=37) revealed that the two groups agreed that communication and education constitute the most important topics in parent education programs. Some differences of opinion, particularly regarding the timing of delivery of some categories of information, were identified. (Author/DB)
