The Effects of the Teacher's Behavior on Deaf Students' Perception of the Organizational Environment of the Classroom.

An observational study of effects of teaching behavior of deaf and hearing teachers on secondary deaf students' perception of the classroom environment found that a positive class attitude was associated with moderate monitoring of the students, persistence with students who did not understand the task and an overt and task-oriented reward structure.
