A survey of 404 parents of children with hearing impairments born in 1989 or 1990 found that parents favorably evaluated intervention programs and reported teachers to be helpful. Parents from minority groups and those with no college training reported their children showed more behavior problems and less language progress. (Author/CR)

This study investigated the theories people hold concerning sexual abuse of deaf children, through document review, observation, interviews, and a staff survey at a residential school for the deaf. This study evaluated the effectiveness of a computer-assisted instructional program to teach educational psychology concepts to 19 preservice deaf teachers.
