The two-part trainee guide contains instructional text covering the following topics: general safety; fire procedures; first aid; engineering drawings; care and use of measuring equipment; procedures in measuring and marking out; materials; hand tools; techniques in tapping and screwing; sheet metal work; techniques for joining, turning, and milling; oxyacetylene and manual metal arc welding, electricity, electrical conductors and wiring, solder, electronic components, and circuit boards.
