Strategies to Improve Nutrition Knowledge and Food Behavior of Mothers.

Assessed the effectiveness of two types of messages in improving nutrition knowledge, food shopping practices, and dietary intakes. The messages were: (1) sender-oriented, based on socioeconomic and demographic characteristics of mothers; and (2) receiver-oriented, based on specific nutrition orientations. Results show that the first type of messages was more effective. (JN)
