The study investigated the relationship between prognosis of turnover (before placement) and actual turnover within two years after placement for new handicapped employees (N=1948) in Dutch sheltered workshops. The clinical judgment of rehabilitation professionals proved to be the best predictor variable controlling for all other explanatory variables. (Author/JW)
