This task-based curriculum guide for agricultural production, specifically for sheep, is intended to help the teacher develop a classroom management system where students learn by doing. Introductory materials include a Dictionary of Occupational Titles job code and title sheet, a task sheet for developing leadership skills, and a task list. Each task is then outlined in this format: statement of duty, statement of task, duty and task numbers, a checklist of achievement indicators, a statement of the criteria for achievement of competence, specification of required tools and equipment and resources, and lists of teacher activities and student learning activities. The tasks are categorized by eight duties: caring for sheep, breeding sheep, feeding sheep, maintaining sheep health, maintaining sheep facilities, marketing sheep, showing sheep, and using employability skills. Other contents include student and class achievement records and tool/equipment lists. (YLB)
