These three booklets on family and child health are part of a series of 22 booklets specifically designed to help parents understand their children and help them to learn. "The Effects of Stress on Parents and Family Life" (booklet #17), covers issues such as causes and effects of stress, stress and our modern society, and coping with stress. In "Childhood Immunization and Dental Care" (booklet #14), the importance of early childhood immunization and dental care is explained with reference to common childhood diseases. "Nutrition and the Health of Your Family" (booklet #15) discusses the essential food groups, do's and don'ts, diet and exercise, individuals with special nutrition needs, and nutrition for infants and children ages 5 to 18. The booklets are written with the same text in both English and Spanish, are easy to read, and include illustrations. (MP)
