To augment the Pennsylvania Association of School Business Officials in the establishment of the highest standards and practices in school business administration, this manual provides an evaluation instrument of school business functions. Each of the 18 self-evaluation chapters is structured to be used independently and may be utilized in any sequence. Each item is set forth as a positive statement with a positive response expected to indicate completion or compliance. In addition, the evaluator may indicate a negative response or note that the statement is not applicable. Each statement also contains a citation to a reference source and a one-line comment space. Finally, each section of evaluation statements is preceded by a one-page summary of the topic.
