Judgments of Restrictiveness, Social Acceptability, and Usage: Review of Research on Procedures to Decrease Behavior.
Morgan, Robert L.
American Journal on Mental Retardation, v94 n2 p121-33 Sep 1989
The article reviewed research on professionals', consumers', and others' judgments of the restrictiveness, social acceptability, and estimated frequency of use of procedures to decrease problem behaviors of disabled persons. Most respondents agreed that more restrictive procedures should be used as a last resort and that less restrictive procedures were more socially acceptable. (Author/DB)
