The Case Again$t College Revisited
Beaver, William
College and University, v90 n1 p24-26, 28-31 2015
The fact that nearly one-half of recent college graduates are unemployed or underemployed has once again raised questions about the value of a college degree. This article will attempt to answer these questions by analyzing such issues as labor markets, student debt, human capital along with examining the less apparent aspects of degrees and conclude that college is still worth it. However, colleges need to make students more aware of the realities of the situation by providing information about employment opportunities by major, student loan debt, and job placement rates.
