The Texas Real Estate Research Center-Texas Education Agency (TRERC-TEA) curriculum workshop was attended by over 40 participants representing 26 Texas community colleges. These participants divided into eight small groups by real estate specialty area and developed curriculum outlines and learning objectives for the following real estate courses: (1) real estate appraisal; (2) brokerage; (3) finance; (4) investment; (5) Texas law as it relates to real estate; (6) principles and practice; (7) salemanship; and (8) titles, abstract, escrow, and closing procedures. In addition to the syllabi, the workshop agenda, a list of participants, and a summary of their evaluation of the workshop are included, as well as an outline of the constitution and bylaws of the Texas Real Estate Teachers Association.
