Quantum Inferential Leaps: The Rhetoric of Physics.
McPhail, Mark Lawrence
Southern Communication Journal, v57 n3 p178-93 Spr 1992
Considers the epistemological implications of a changing understanding of reality, based on contemporary connections between rhetoric as epistemic (questioning underlying assumptions about modernist conceptualizations of science and language) and quantum physics (rejecting the notion of an objective reality existing independent of observers). Suggests the rhetoric of physics as a synthesis of these two areas. (SR)
