For young adults looking to enter the workforce for the first time, or older adults making a career change, this can be a frustrating situation. But there are ways that schools can help bridge this transition from training to job placement. At East Valley Institute of Technology (EVIT) in Mesa, Arizona, a successful partnership has net the school a renovated facility that trains workers for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs; thanks to another venture, EVIT will soon have a new health center on campus that provides students with hands-on training and employment opportunities.
