As a result of the research a meaningful difference was found between the experiment and control groups in terms of contribution of the visualized phrases on the number of words used during the speech to the advantage of the experiment group. Although very little difference was observed among the 3rd, 5th and 7th grade students in terms of the words they used about the verbal phrases, it was observed that they used more words during the speeches related to the visualized phrases. The students' using more words related to the visualized phrases during the speeches may be associated to the nature of visual nature to the world of the children.
