Chapter 2 focuses on nature trails, including preparation of nature trails, trail interpretation, methods of interpretation, trail construction, and costs. Chapter 3 focuses on the general principles and techniques of outdoor signs, including types of signs. General principles, techniques, and construction of outdoor and indoor displays are discussed in chapter 4. Methods of fund raising and preparing a talk are addressed in chapter 5. A general discussion of "advanced facilities" is provided in chapter 6, focusing on slides/movies, visitor centers, mobile units, and live animal exhibits.
