Higgins, Chris
Action, Criticism, and Theory for Music Education, v11 n2 p123-132 Sep 2012
This article presents the author's response to the reviews of his book, "The Good Life of Teaching: An Ethics of Professional Practice." He begins by highlighting some of the main concerns of his book. He then offers a brief response, doing his best to address the main criticisms of his argument and noting where the four reviewers (Charlene Morton, Thomas Regelski, Marissa Silverman, and Mark Whale), by focusing on the particular domain of music teaching, enrich one's understanding of the ethics of teaching. (Contains 4 notes.)
