Surveys of 323 southern California teenagers in schools, migrant education programs, delinquency programs, pregnancy programs, and youth groups examined their financial management information needs. Respondents wanted to know about checking and savings accounts, obtaining credit, and buying cars and clothing/personal care items. A newsletter addressing these topics was developed for use in school and other programs. (TD)
