Rescheduling Child Sexual Trajectories
Yuill, Richard
Journal of LGBT Youth, v5 n3 p104-110 Jul 2008
The author comments on Diederik Janssen's essay "ReQueering Queer Youth Development: A Post-Developmental Approach to Childhood and Pedagogy," commenting that Janssen's analysis can inform both both materialist and post-structuralist understandings of children's sexuality by shifting focus from children as fetishized objects or as a group subsumed with adult sexual political agendas, toward empowering children as active sexual subjects.
