Science Activities: Classroom Projects and Curriculum Ideas, v45 n4 p29-33 Win 2009
The author describes how the yearlong Investigating Seasonal Change at North Ponds project enabled third-grade students to take on the role of environmental scientists, recording and analyzing environmental data from ponds near their school. The students used an array of technological tools to explore and report on the causes and effects of seasonal changes in temperature and sunlight at the ponds.
