Adolescent Religiosity and Contraceptive Usage.
Studer, Marlena; Thornton, Arland
Journal of Marriage and the Family, v49 n1 p117-28 Feb 1987
Examined contraceptive use by never married, sexually experienced female adolescents (N=224). Found birth control pills to be the single most popular method of contraception. Subjects who reported regularly attending religious services were less likely to have used an effective, medical method of contraception than those who rarely attended religious services.
