Speaking My Mind: Logging In--Connecting with Secondary Students Online

With online programs growing across the nation, virtual teachers are continually working to reengage students. Online learning has the potential to reach a diverse group of students and offer them equal access to learning. In this article, the author describes her online English class for high school students, and states that she has been energized by the possibilities of online education. While the curricular content closely resembles traditional school content, the delivery is fresh and innovative.
