The five papers in this publication were selected so that science teachers, guidance counselors and students could benefit from the experience and knowledge of individuals active in marine science. Areas considered, as indicated by the titles, are: (1) Professional Careers in Marine Science with the Federal Government; (2) Marine Science Government Publications to Aid Teachers and Students; (3) Oceanography Programs for Teachers and for Grade and High School Students; (4) Marine Geological Research and Potentials; and (5) Today's Youth in Tomorrow's Sea. The paper on marine science government publications includes an extensive, non-government listing of aquatic science paperback books, as well as references from the Government Printing Office, Fish and Wildlife Service, National Oceanographic Data Center, and the World Data Center.
