This booklet lists tasks and functions the health occupations student should be able to do upon entering an employment situation or a postsecondary school. (Listings are also available for the areas of cosmetology and transportation/automotive mechanics.) Tasks are coded to correspond to those on the Student Performance Record, which details a student's past performance. Tasks and functions are listed for nine major allied health occupations/practical nursing areas: (1) health occupations skills, (2) personal and vocational relationships, (3) nutrition and diet therapy, (4) basic drug administration, (5) anatomy and physiology, (6) nursing of children, (7) maternal and newborn care, (8) mental health and mental illness, and (9) medical surgical nursing.
