Forty-five years after the "Brown v. Board of Education" decision, the United States still faces the realities of institutional resistance to change. Johnson); (2) "Lessons Learned: A Decade of Education Reform" (Sarah Ellen Torian); (3) "Tracking Hurts Children" (Maria Klenbort); (4) "The Right Attacks Public Schools" (Barbara Miner); (5) "Promote Educational Success" (Gregory Malhoit); (6) "Voucher Push Moves South" (Ellen Spears); (7) "Education Is Key to Eliminating Racial Inequality" (Southern Regional Council); (8) "Schools In Conflict" (Leslie Dunbar); (9) "Title I Reauthorization" (Diane Piche); (10) "Standards Reform" (M. Hayes Mizell); (11) "Completing the Circle, Part II"; and (12) "Grace and Guts: Virginia Foster Durr, 1903-1999." (SLD)
