Titeres. (Puppets.) Hand Puppets for Children (Based on Spanish Games & Characters).
Arroyo, Nancy; And Others
The guide consists of patterns for making ten hand puppets based on Spanish games and characters. These hand puppets can be used by the teacher or student. They can be made of felt or construction paper. These hand puppets can teach a simple song and game or become a means of introducing many things. The patterns are for the characters of Cri Cri, Patito, and Patita which are characters from traditional children's songs in Mexico, and Topo Gigio which is a television character with a squeeky voice. Naranja Dulce, Limon Partido, and La Vibora are suggested by traditional Mexican children's games. El policia, El Ladron, and La Nina can be used in teaching the vocabulary of furniture and clothing.
