Each entry includes: (1) name of item; (2) purpose of the equipment; (3) person who submitted the information; (4) line drawing of prototype; (5) list of low-cost materials needed; (6) construction procedures; (7) approximate cost of one item; (8) method of use; and (9) additional comments when applicable. Items described include an alcohol burner, kerosene burner, test tube rack, tripod stand, simple gas generator, molecular model of carbon dioxide, environmental game, balances, working model of lungs, model of a circle, friction block, simple pully, reaction force apparatus, weather equipment, electroscope, magnetic compass, electric motor, expansion apparatus, and others for use in biological, physical, earth, and general science courses.
