The collective bargaining agreement between the Moraine Park Vocational, Technical and Adult Educational District Board and the Moraine Park Federation of Teachers is presented. This contract, covering full-time faculty, guidance counselors, and school health nurses at Moraine Park Technical College, applies to the period from July 1, 1989 through June 30, 1991. The contract contains provisions regarding the following: bargaining agent recognition; negotiation procedures; management and Federation rights; grievance procedure; teacher supervision; procedure relating to renewal or nonrenewal of contract, dismissal, or other discipline; no strike clause; conditions of employment, including teacher assignment, vacancies, job posting, transfer, and reassignments, work week, workday, length of school year, certification, academic freedom, publication and developmental rights, workload formula, personal supplies, determination of teacher continuous service, and curriculum development pay; teachers' salaries, including sabbatical leave and other leaves of absence, group life insurance and other benefits, teacher retirement, and dues; employee benefits; layoff during term of individual contracts; contract duration; and savings clause.
