The Effects of Curriculum on Student Health Behaviors: A Case Study of the Growing Healthy Curriculum on Health Behaviors of Eighth Grade Students.
Lammers, Jane W.
Journal of Health Education, v27 n5 p278-82 Sep-Oct 1996
This study examined whether a comprehensive elementary health education curriculum influenced students' health behaviors after reaching eighth grade. Surveys of students in intervention and nonintervention districts indicated no apparent curriculum effects for most health behaviors. The only major difference was for the variable of age at first substance use. (SM)
