This commentary discusses two seminal articles highlighting Joseph Zins' perspective about the potential utility and advantages of peer-mediated support groups (PSGs) to foster ongoing professional development, support, and career enhancement for school psychologists. Specifically, it discusses past, present and future applications of PSGs for school psychologists and encourages trainers of school psychologists to consider PSGs as a supportive approach to ongoing professional development.
