The units cover the following topics: (1) organization of the body; (2) cells, tissues, and membranes; (3) integumentary system; (4) skeletal system; (5) muscular system; (6) nervous system; (7) special sense organs; (8) digestive system; (9) circulatory system; (10) lymphatic system; (11) respiratory system; (12) reproductive system; (13) urinary system; and (14) endocrine system. Each of the units contain some or all of the following basic components of a unit of instruction: objective sheet, suggested activities for the teacher, answers to assignment sheets, answers to written test, written test, unit evaluation form, teacher supplements, transparency masters, information sheet, student supplements, assignment sheets, and job sheets. All the unit components focus on measurable and observable learning outcomes, and are planned to be used in more than one lesson or class period of instruction.
