Conroy, Helen
Perspectives: Policy and Practice in Higher Education, v11 n1 p18-24 Jan 2007
This paper describes a JISC-funded project which aimed to promote the benefits of improved information skills amongst university managers and administrators. The project ran from January to July 2006 and involved a survey into the way in which managers and administrators use information, followed by a UK-wide training programme. A self-evaluation tool was also developed which will be made available as a stand-alone tool for use within institutions. The programme was developed and delivered by Netskills (http://www.netskills.ac.uk/), in consultation with the AUA and its members. (Contains 2 figures.)
