A Comparative Analysis of General Case Simulation Instruction and Naturalistic Instruction.
Domaracki, Joseph W.; Lyon, Steven R.
Research in Developmental Disabilities, v13 n4 p363-79 Jul-Aug 1992
This study, which involved training four young adults with moderate or severe mental retardation on housekeeping and janitorial work skills, found that simulation instruction based on general case methodology can be used to teach complex sequences, that naturalistic instruction seemed more efficient than simulation instruction, and that neither method was superior in producing generalized responding.
