Compared data from suicides committed by 13 known male homosexuals to data from suicides committed by 106 other males. Both groups had histories of substance abuse, psychiatric diagnoses, and a high frequency of relationship difficulties near the time of death. The results suggest that there appears to be little difference between gay and heterosexual male suicides. (Author/NB)
