Comparative data about the State University System of Florida (gathered by the Florida State Board of Regents) are provided. Data were gathered from a variety of sources, with the primary source documents being the State University System Data Tapes, the Higher Education General Information Survey Reports, annual financial statements, operating budgets, and reports required by the United States Office for Civil Rights. Lists of the Florida State Board of Education (1986-1987), the Florida State Board of Regents (1986-1987), and the University presidents (during 1986-1987) are provided. A history and description of the State University System of Florida is included.
