Descriptive and statistical information is presented for the University of Hawaii's (UH's) community colleges and Employment Training Office. The first sections of the fact book examine the mission of Hawaii's community colleges and their administrative organization. Next, an overview is presented of the community college system, providing brief profiles of students, faculty, student services, continuing education, and other services and programs. A series of figures and graphs is presented next, covering: (1) undergraduate enrollment by University of Hawaii unit; (2) lower division enrollment in Arts and Sciences/General and Pre-professional programs by UH unit; (3) total community college enrollment by program area; (4) community college system general funds allocation, fiscal year 1984-85; (5) programs offered by campus; (6) enrollment by degree status; (7) degrees awarded, 1983-84 academic year; (8) selected student characteristics (i.e., full-/part-time attendance status, ethnic background, and gender); and (9) selected faculty characteristics (i.e., instructional area, highest degree, full-/part-time status, and tenure status). The final section of the fact book provides a brief description of each campus, along with program enrollment, general funds allocation, and student and faculty characteristics data. (EJV)
