Credit Policies for Courses in Minnesota Colleges & Universities: Advanced Placement, 2004-2005.
Minnesota State Department of Education
This guide is intended to aid high school students in their educational planning. Colleges and universities state their policies in granting college credit for successful completion of Advanced Placement (AP) examinations in high school. The guide also represents certification of these policies to the Department of Education and to the Minnesota State Legislature. AP policies of most Minnesota institutions of higher learning are represented in this guide. Institutions that are part of Minnesota State Colleges and Universities (MnSCU) have adopted a policy establishing common practices among these institutions for awarding credit based on student performance on AP examinations. The policy as stated on the following page will be observed by member institutions; however, many have individually approved additional creditequivalent guidelines which are spelled out in this guide.
