Evaluation of a Computer Simulation in a Therapeutics Case Discussion.

A computer program was used to simulate a case presentation in pharmacotherapeutics. Students (n=24) used their knowledge of the disease (glaucoma) and various topical agents on the computer program's formulary to "treat" the patient. Comparison of results with a control group found the method as effective as traditional case presentation on paper. (Author/MSE)
