This research expands understanding of forgiveness by distinguishing forgiveness from unforgiveness and their respective correlates, and examining coping style and its impact on the process of forgiveness and unforgiveness. Correlates for forgiveness and unforgiveness were distinctly different. Emotion focused coping was associated with forgiving. (Contains 39 references.) (GCP)
