Long, Sharon K.
Journal of Human Resources, v26 n4 p654-78 Fall 1991
Data from the National Evaluation of School Nutrition Programs (a sample of 5,977 students) were used to develop estimates that somewhat less than half of each additional dollar of National School Lunch Program benefits is used by households to supplement food expenditures, and all of each additional dollar of School Breakfast Program benefits is allocated for such expenditures.
