Food Shopping Behaviors and Food Use by Well-Educated Young Parents.
Bassler, Eunice; Newell, G. Kathleen
Journal of Nutrition Education, v14 n4 p146-49 Dec 1982
Investigated relationships between food shopping behavior and food patterns in two-parent families having at least one preschool-age child. Cost, family preferences, and nutritive value were the most important factors influencing food choices. However, neither costs nor nutritive value considerations appeared very important with respect to food shopping behavior or food use. (Author/JN)
