Intended for personnel of local school districts in Oklahoma, the manual offers guidelines for locating, evaluating, and providing special services for handicapped children. Information is presented in question/answer format in six major sections: introduction; awareness campaign (newspaper articles, radio and television, flyers and brochures, public speaking); screening; referral; evaluation; and service delivery.
